Change in the programme management of NRP 74

Kathrin Peter will retire and leave the SNSF Administrative Offices on 1 April 2021. Annegret Lesslauer will succeed her as Programme Manager of the NRP 74.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Kathrin Peter for her dedication and wish her all the best for the future!

"With this newsletter I officially say goodbye as programme manager of NRP 74. With one smiling and one crying eye, I look back on six exciting and instructive years. I am leaving a wonderful community of researchers and stakeholders who are about to reap the benefit of their years of work and prepare the way forward for a strong health services research in Switzerland. I wish all those involved, and especially my successor Annegret Lesslauer, much success and joy in this final phase!"

Annegret Lesslauer not only succeeds her as Programme Manager, but also becomes Head of National Research Programmes. Welcome!

"I am looking forward with excitement to the programme management of NRP 74. I was already very interested in medical issues during my biology studies and doctorate. I have worked in clinical research as well as in communication in the pharmaceutical field. In the last eight years, I have built up and coordinated one of the University Research Centres at the University of Zurich as its Executive Director. Now I am very much looking forward to getting to know the NRP 74".
